Big Rig Innovations

Big Rig Innovations, Inc. (BRI) is start-up green technology company with a patented product that can reduce fuel use by long-haul semi-trailer trucks. Its first product, WindBender, is a flexible, self-inflating boat tail for swing-door semi trailers.  Field tests have show a greater than 10% savings in fuel consumption, almost twice that of the limited competition just going to market.  This would save $6 billion and 30 million tons of CO2 per year. WindBender is in the final stages of prototype testing, and the first production sample will be tested by an industry recognized third-party expert at Auburn in late October, 2012.  BRI is currently raising funds in a seed round.
